- I can spend hours reading and sometimes even rereading the same trashy celebrity gossip magazines, that are not only more than a year old, but are also from Australia. Embarrassingly enough the magazine is just as interesting the second time through, which might have something to do with my goldfish memory.
- I've rediscovered my love for laying (or is it lying?) on kitchen floors.
- I willingly rented and watched Elizabethtown and wasn't entirely disappointed, but only because there is a 15 second shot of Portland in the beginning. (Orlando Bloom works for a giant shoe company named Mercury, owned by a man named Phil with a huge campus just outside of Portland. That's funny, it sort of reminds me of this other giant shoe company named Nike, also owned by a man named Phil, that also has a huge campus just outside of Portland. I'm sure its just a coincidence...)
- I can't remember what day it is for more than 2 hours.
- I've been awaiting the ripening of the avocado I bought three days ago like a kid waits for Christmas.
- Making dinner is often the most exciting part of the day.
- Looking up Whoopi Goldberg on imdb.com is actually an activity that can pass the time.
- Talking about what a top athlete I am still hasn't gotten old. I've actually put my free time to good use and started running.
- Reading ESPN online is is an exciting way to spend an afternoon.
- And I can't even come up with a number 10 because I'm now so pathetic and have so much free time I can't even be bothered to get up off the kitchen floor and get dressed most days.

What day is it again?
Ten signs that I have way too much free time here in Germany...

Long Time Gone
Hello, yes, hi, me again. I haven't completely disappeared. I've just been lazy... not that it really matters whether I write or not, I'm quite positive there are only about 5 of you out there that actually read this thing.
A short recap:
Went to Italy for a week. Ate too much Pizza, saw the leaning tower of Pisa and the lesser known leaning tower of Bologna. Wandered around, drank coffee, saw a church or two, an art museum or two (saw David) slept in the airport then came home.
Went to London/Brighton for a week. Ate fish and chips, drank too much coffee, wandered around, tried to find jeans with out Euro-bling all over them, saw Brokeback Mountain, went to a couple museums, spoke a lot of English, slept in the airport and then came home. You know, the usual.
Now I'm back in the Burg doing ... well nothing. Absolutely nothing. I've become an expert at wasting time. I've become a full fledged athlete. I've been running twice. I'm good at watching DVD's, I've been averaging 2 a day. Impressive, no?
And that's about all.
